I have spark at all four plugs, but no fire. I ripped the carbs back off and the manifold sides were dry as a bone on numbers 1,2, and 4. Could mine main jets be clogged? How do I clean them properly if they are. Is there just a hole to clean out?

I still suggest pulling the in line filter from the equation just for #$%*s and giggles..many people have had fuel delivery issues due to air bubbles and such.

Have you fully cleaned your carbs yet?  Since you got the bike?

Well, I pulled off the carbs and preceded to take them apart...again. Idle jets were clean as a whistle. Main jets were clogged right up. I used the same old gas line and was thinking maybe there was gunk in there. Since the old line was after the filter, the filter did no good. Anyway, I'll clean up the carbs tonight and try again tomorrow. Wish me luck.

See reply # 40,  ;)
If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,

Blah, blah, blah...I know Spanner. I was really hoping it was a complicated Prestolite ignition instead of a poor carb cleaning by me. Tis' the nature of the beast. Its the 70's Honda mantra, "With Clean Carbs Will Travel."

ps- I soaked the jets before cleaning and ate the o-rings right off them. Ordered new jets last night. They should be here in a few days. :P The weather is so nice I can hardly stand it. 75 degrees in Syracuse in early May is quite the treat. I would be riding already had I taken 30 seconds to clean the fuel line.

Damn Greggo, pretty harsh. The definition of idiot is someone who seeks advice and then doesn't follow it.  :o
