Hey guys

Been trolling off and on for a couple years. Finally broke down and just scooped up a 1976 CB550 from Craigslist. Its been sort of converted to cafe status, minus tank and cowl. She's a project, and I'm new to motorcycles, but not mechanics or vintage racers in general. BMW guy at heart, but the CB will do. Also have 1974 Honda XL100 that hasnt run in over 10 years.

Welcome. There are several members from the Forum in the area. A few of us have gotten together for a couple rides including a couple of trips down to the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Leeds Alabama. I am down in Smyrna/Murfreesboro and have a few old Honda's kicking around the garage in various states of assembly and disaster. Good luck with the project.

BTW... I need your forks/front end from my race bike.
