Problem with spokes and HD rim
« on: May 20, 2011, 03:49:10 PM »
Just now I am asking a question already!

I have a problem to mount the spokes on my rear rim.
Rays come from TAS Classic motorsport, the rim is from a HD, and the hub is that of a CB 750 K6.
All departments has raised to the nuts, and they are not well positioned in the hub.
I really do not know what to do, so if anyone has fitted these rays on a CB 750 I know what I did wrong.
I wanted to post pictures but I do not know how.

Thank you in advance for your help (and sorry for my English)

I dont know where my post is but that is how the spokes were on mine, as well as other members on this forum. I used an air tool and a small cut off wheel and cut them off and smoothed them out. Worked fine.

Thanks ffjmoore

I see you have the same problems as me, you cut all the spokes, or only some, because I think I should cut all.

anything that sticks above the nut you should cut off.
