Don't use tire foam

And if you do, make sure you get every drop of it off your tires.  after letting my bike sit for a couple of hours foamed, my back wheel slid out from under me as i was pulling out of an intersection.  the tire foam was definitely to blame, as it was equivalent to coating my tires with oil.   luckily my knee took the bulk of the blow and all my bike got was a nickel sized ding on the exhaust.  guess i learned my lesson there.

on a good note, though, being in the right place at the right time today got me two '76 550's for 150 bucks.  they haven't ran in 20 years, but hell, parts bike and rebuild!  for a price like that i can't turn 'm down.

That goes for most all tire shine products! I stick to soapy water and a brush myself...
