I'm back- Got the front brakes done, and will be getting it to fire real soon, then make rearsets and wiring. Super busy working, by the time I knock off at about 10-11 PM..........................I am smoked!

Pics soon- The front brakes were a project, had to really crunch some numbers!

Fantastic clean engineering design and thought into the mods. Kudos on all the work and thought you have put into what you have shared. I am glad to see you back here as I am sure many others are as well.

So, what does your rear brake cam arm look like? Certainly, you didn't leave it stock.

Are you putting an oil pressure gauge on the bike?

Looking forward to what you have done on the front brake system. Are you going to run cartridge emulators in the front forks?

Any plans to modify or stiffen the chassis frame or mods/new rear swing arm design with stock geometry?
The YSS shocks are premium quality from everything I have read about them.

Are you a machinist by trade or just have access or own all the cool toys?

I did so much stuff I lost tracK! Almost every part was made from scratch, axles, motor bolts you name it.
The YSS shocks are 2" longer than stock, and my gearing is 18/38. I am running a steel countershaft sprocket and 7075-T6 rear sprocket. My gearing is 2.11 vs. 2.16(stock) if I remember correctly.
My front forks have new tubes and springs, but no emulators. Will see if I need them.

I make stuff for a living. My motorcycle stuff is for relaxation on the weekends.

Custom oil filter plate, indexed with o-ring and AN fittings. Center "bolt" is also lube orifice.



Oil filter plumbed, I even made the copolymer hose clamp/separator- the stainless lines wont rub on the cylinder fins. This was a cross your fingers modification, and I triple checked that my oil path was routed correctly.



Another pic. I unplugged a line and kicked it over and oil squirted strong in the right direction.

Gauges- I made a rubber mount system. Getting the location just right for the correct look took some doing. I had the gauges farther out by about an inch, and it just didn't look right with the headlight. So I busted it back down and made another. I am crazy about making things perfect (subjective!)

And yes, that is my '79 Shovel mill in the background!
