heres my 1976 CB550K. As of today, stock except drag bars, dual disc conversion, 4into 2 exhaust, dyna ignition. also i think the tank is from a 1974 model.

Stock 1976 Cb750F with 5,000 miles. Pictures are when I picked it up last year. Have since removed the windshield,roll bar and luggage rack to make it pure stock. Can't wait to cut her up into a Bobber-Chopper.

What's that pod between your gauges?

It's an A/F meter rigged into a car ashtray, zip tied onto the gage pod.
Temporary setup to help with the re-jet on modified airbox.

Think I will keep all the extras with the bike for now.Hear those rear racks though are kind of hard to find.Thanks for asking though.

77 F2, mostly stock. The seat is not, obviously, but i'm changing it back. Also has lower bars with different mirrors, and some PO had the swing arm and some other stuff on the rear chromed. Other than that i believe it to be pretty stock other than a missing front disc, but who needs 2 anyway lol

OMG, sorry that this is off topic, but just too coincidental to not tell. Bender, a years ago, before i ever knew about this site, i saw a pic of a black 750F on bike pics. I already had a CB650, but was thinking about sizing up to a 750. It was that day that i decided some day i would have one like it. Fast forward and i now have one. I was reading through this thread, clicked on your link...low and behold it was your bike! i still have the pic saved on my pc from a year ago...small world

I posted this in projects as well but it is more stock than not, so here you go. I love the stock look of the 400f -- particularly the tank, the seat and the pipes -- but always had a wish list of changes which included drilling the rotors, taking some paint off and polishing various items, smaller clocks, and black instead of blue/yellow/red. All that, combined with plugging oil leaks in the top end and correcting some serious PO wire-butchering, left me with this.....

That bike (78750 f3) is at a friends house 2 miles from me! Those bike pics are the day I started to clean and put it back on the rd! I would buy it back if he sells it. My favorite bike pic is my 75 550k. That spookey toms cb750 colors website used my bike as an example!
