which SOHC are these air chamber boots from?
« on: June 13, 2011, 10:51:09 pm »
should be a quick answer..I only have experience with a 550, and I have these boots (from the PO extra parts) that I'd like to get rid of, if only I knew what bike they are from... they are slightly larger than my 550's air chamber boots. they have around a 2" diameter. see the pic of it compared to the one from my 76 cb550f. thanks :D

I suppose somebody might be able to answer this for you, but I really doubt it. There is no reason to even be sure that are SOHC parts other than they came in a box of misc spare parts from the PO.

Without accurate dimensions, I'd say maybe from a 750?

David Silver Spares in GB lists them but supplies can be spotty.  They are a re-pop as Honda no longer supplies them.

piggybacking on the last post: http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/CB550F-SUPER-SPORT-1976-USA/part_69797/

they don't have their own OEM part number unfortunately, so they can be a challenge to find. but that website is a gem.
