Seems to me no.

Check out this link:

http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2009/06/19/automobiles/20090619-auto-plants-4.html

It doesn't cover where every single part was made, but it does show where the engine and transmission were made and where the vehicles were assembled.  With the thousands of individual parts that go into an entire car, I'd be surprised if any vehicle currently being made is entirely 100% from any one country.

Funny, my first car was a Toyota. Got TONS of crap for drive "Jap sh!t" from neighors & relatives (I grew up in the rust belt). It was made - OK assembled - in Tennessee.
My parents' Ford... made in Mexico.
Guess which one lasted for 9 years w/ no problems while the other died after 3?

I struggled with this on my last purchase and ended up with a Chevy,  built in Spring Hill, Tennessee by UAW workers. When I opened the hood I found a tag on a wire harness: "Made in China". :-[
The sticker says 70% US/Canadian parts
 Final Assembly US
 Engine US
 Transmission US

The confusing thing was Honda CRV, built in Ohio, Saturn VUE built in Mexico. Heck the older Saturns have a Honda V6!

I've always wondered how many Americans foreign car companies employ and how many foreigners American car companies hire? There has to be a statistic somewhere...locked in a vault...with an armed guard.
