Weirdest SOHC4?
« on: May 03, 2005, 12:34:18 PM »
So, uhm, I stumbled across this picture and thought "Like wow, man, this just has to be the weirdest SOHC4 I ever saw, like, in a long time, man" so I thought maybe I would post it and see if anyone will raise me on this one.....

I used to go to the vintage car races in steamboat.  On year there was a little car that had a 550 motor in it.  He said it was a kit that you used to be able to buy and run a 750 in it. Also didnt someone find a dozer kit for the 750 motor?
we have been goin to one of the local road course tracks to watch and a bunch of there little indy/alms type cars use bike engines.  Even seen a 2 stroke twin in one last year.

I once saw a homemade 750 Hondamatic sidecar rig owned by a disabled guy. the back of the sidecar had a ramp attached so he could enter it in his wheelchair. He had all handlebar controls in the sidecar so what you saw was a riderless bike with a guy in the sidecar.

sorry, no pics.

Cheers, Remi

Has anyone seen plans or pic's for a "morgan" styled three wheeler w/ 750 engine?  I saw one years ago with the engine mounted behind the cockpit.  Looks like something I'd like to build.

I know a guy who has an enduro CB 750  ;D
Looks pretty nasty. He said there are all sorts of CB's out there, Cafe racers, streetfighters, but no one else has an enduro-CB...
I'll take a pic of it next summer.
