Left control housing match up

Does anyone know if a left clutch control assembly from a 74 cb750k will match with a 75 cb750f ss?
The part numbers are slightly off but I mainly need it for the threading on the mirror bc mine has stripped out.

Sorry to bump this old thread. But I'm having the same issue and I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure it out.

I have a '75 F, and the current left controls are either from a 77-78F or an earlier K model.

Main issue I'm having is the headlight, not getting any current to the headlight or hi-lo controls. The orange and white on the controls are not matching up with the wiring harness and my brain just isnt that great with these logistical wiring issues. Has anyone successfully done this?
