Hey everyone!

Looking for a few answers before taking on the ever-popular CB750 Caff racer conversion, and I can't think of a better place than here!
I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of me around on this forum, and any help you can give a newbie from sunny ole' UK.

But a real quick quetsion, do I actually disc brakes on the rear??

I know the Carpy customs keep the drum a lot of the time and I've seen many others with it too, but just love the idea of extra stopping power of the disc, but do I really need it or will it stop just fine?
If I wanted 4 wheels I'd buy another bike!

Welcome to the forum.  If you are set on front and rear discs, purchase the CB750F...Larry

Hi there

One thing I've been recommended is staying with a single disc on front and a single on the back, (which i understand opens up models a bit more too). Talked to the guys at my local shop and said I'm actually better off getting some modern calipers fitted. He said he knows people which have done very similar things without too much hassle, and that a single modern disc/caliper is better than refurbing the old twin front discs...

Thoughts?
