81 kz 1000 cam chain ?

ok so the bike makes a chain slapping sound when giving it gas but not when idoling. wondering ifanyway to tell if its the cam chain guide or somehting else any help would be appreciated thanks.

Most likely it's the cam chain tensioner.  Check your shop manual.  Altermatively, buy an APE manual cam chain tensioner.
