if the wire the bright blue is going into is also blue and runs to the coil with the blue wire it should be ok,check the lower end at the points,make sure the black/white stripe connector is clean and tight,if you have a multimeter measure the spark plug cap resistance,they unscrew from the wire,,your looking for 5kohm.
