oh no, i did something bad...
« on: May 03, 2005, 11:27:23 PM »
so i was tinkering around with the carbs today on my cb650 and i ended up pulling two vacuum lines(i think) loose. the both go between the two outside carbs and have a "t" shaped rubber boot on the end of both of them. where do these lines go? is it bad that they arent connectd to anything? the bike seems to be runnning fine. help

Just vent lines.  Be gental with them as the T is a #$%* to replace. I think origanly they went to the airbox but not sure.  All but one of my bikesI have put unis on and just let them hang below the back of the engine.  Dont make the hoses to long though as the air going past at speed will play with the floats.
