Hey everyone new guy to both this forum and biking. I am rebuilding a 1976 CB750K, got it for 100 bucks and.....you get what you pay for basically. I got it in the worst possible condition, rust everywhere, birds nest in the battery cage, rusty stripped forks, a wiring nightmare. With everything so horribly wrong with this bike, the best part was when I cracked open the engine it was sealed so good that all the internals were squeaky clean and in working order. Im guessing the reason it was junked was because some genious thought dirt would help his fuel consumption, and it did cause now the bike consumes no fuel at all. Petcock was full of gunk and dirt, the gas tank aswell, and yup even the carbs. So theres a little bit about my project Im doing great on the rust killing part. Just got in some new engine gaskets to put in this weekend.
