Topic: Fork ears......will they fit?

Does anyone know if '76 CB750 fork ears will fit on a '72 CL350?  They look the same, but not sure about sizing.

Well the CL had 33mm diameter fork tubes and the 750 had 35mm so you'll hafta make some kinda spacer, maybe wrap some inner tube rubber around the fork tube? The other issue is the distance between upper and lower triple trees, too small and you can make a spacer, too big and you'll have to cut the fork ears down.

Like Alan said, you can make anything fit just about anything if you're willing to cut, bend, make spacers, etc. But if the question is will they mount up without issues and fit to the standard CL headlamp bucket, the answer is no.
