Has anyone ever ignored road closed, thru traffic only?
« on: July 19, 2011, 07:30:23 PM »
Sunday the wife and I took my KZ out since the CB is still in the shop... We saw road closed, thru traffic only... Well I guess the turn to the road was worng because we were on a dirt highway for roughly 5 plus miles..... Anyone ever take a wrong turn or go through a closed road with their bike only to be on a trip by itself?

That is an amazing bike!  Traveling 30 mph and ZERO engine revs?!  You must get great gas milage! ;D

Reminds me of a DOHC Honda 705/900/110 group ride I went on when the leader's GPS took us down a dirt/gravel/rock road.  It's safe to say that the guys with NOS bodywork and velocity stacks were less than pleased.  Oh well!

Honestly I hate the KZ... It has been a huge money pit... Glad I decided to learn with this one...

One time I left a van with a friend while I left town and it was driven past a road closed sign near a railroad crossing. It got high centered on the tracks.

From there my understanding is that the result involved a train and lots of fire.
