Bostrom admitted that one of his run offs was due to missing a gear, so had zip to do with tyres. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to go from a superbike to a motogp bike, worlds apart, but the point is if you are given, and ACCEPT, a ride then it would be expected that you'd circulate and not sook it out in the pits after 6 laps. I just think that is unacceptable, no matter how much trouble you're having adapting to the bike.
By Stoner being the complete package I mean race winning, marketing and professional approach to his "job". I'm not sure where he's not cutting it "just yet". I like the way he refers to "we" when he's reviewing his races, it's not me me me, unlike some of them. And to me that shows respect for the team as a whole and the work that goes on behind the scenes.
