This is my first poll, and it sounded like a good idea.    So why do we own these bikes ???

My vote is 1, 2, 4 & 5 but the poll only allows me to select 2.  Also, I think this type of poll was done before.

When I got my full license but still had to stay on a 250cc bike I looked around for an upgrade. Looking through m/b mags I came across a review of the CB400 Supersport, after reading it I knew it was the bike I wanted. I fell in love with the exhaust system and the specs and reviews the writer gave. I then read as much information as I could on the bike and when I went to upgrade, sadly I realized they were no longer in production. That was 1999 and in 2010 I (well my partner) bought me one. That's a long time to wait, hope and dream. I still love the pies and my bike handles well, except I don't like Pirelli tyres and will be changing them asap.

This poll, or one's just like it has been done many times, but no matter, here in Oz we have regular polls about what a crap government we currently have, and not having voted for those incompetents, I still enjoy every one.

I really only like CB750's. I bought one new in 1978, and never had any interest in any of the 750's lesser SOHC siblings. I've owned many CB750's (and one 350F, which was a nice little bike once I'd restored it) and I  still enjoy the look and sound of a 750/4. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

When I was a freshman in highschool (1974) I was already a motorcycle nut, my best friends dad bought a 500/4. That bike was sooooo bad ass.  I've owned a lot of M/C's since mostly MX and sport bikes.  In 2000 when we had our first kid the wife asked me to sell the bikes, this included my Duc.  When she said I should get another bike and suggested that it should be a Cafe bike a Honda 4 was my first choice.

Only owned my 400f for a few months now but I am continually amazed at how refined this bike is. When i comes to old bikes, I've owned a few(still have 75 RD350 and 70 BSA Lightning) from Italian singles to British twins and every time I ride the 400f it always surprises me how modern it rides, smooth, tight, reliable and perfectly adequate brakes for modern use. Maybe not the fastest or best handling bike I've owned but always a pure pleasure to ride and other than freeway use completely usable for modern riding.
