One of the dangers of having a lathe...trying to turn a 3/8" barb to a 1/4" on a "T" fitting. Don't worry, I ended up just buying the correct size.

First fire is always a special time, congrats.
Thank you for having the nuts to try out hard bags. I keep looking at my hardbags in the rafters and think I'll be laughed off the forum if I use them, thanks for opening the door.
On a side note , that K/Q seat, I know this guy that is building a semi chopped 550 , color cast iron/metal flaked that could be very interested in a fine seat like that. Please PM if you could part with it.

Sean Barney has fitted them to his 750 cafe from time-to-time also. They looked right at home and were very practical.

Running and kicking butt. I ran through the gears, then ran out of gas, pushed it home with a big stupid smile. Bogs a bit in 3rd and clutch seems a bit clunky. I also need a front brae bleeds crew. Anybody have one for sale?

Love it. That's exactly what I wanted to do in order to carry waders, boots, and other soft fly fishing gear to the river. What bags are those Frank?
