I had a thread here on my cl100. I converted it to 12 Volts with a cb360 stator. The original charging system was hacked up.

I have a 75 cb125 w a 1980 xl125s in it. I did the 61mm big bore. I just dusted it back off last year to finish dialing it in ( i moved and didn’t have a work space. I swapped it in 2013...) I put an Mb5 front fork n wheel in it too.

Sorry no build thread. It started as a parts bike then a title showed up after I had pulled the motor for a different project. So I started looking to find an engine to build it into a fun around town bike. It’s got a vm26 on it and a foam filter so I could fit the side cover. From there it keep evolving anytime I found a cheap or leftover part I could upgrade it with. Here’s a picture of my rat rod lol. Had to tweak the rear mount, top mount and widen the foot pegs. I haven’t done a top speed run but she cruises at 50 really nice and there is still a lot left.

Cool, nice looking, just wish I could get mine going...........it's a single cylinder, how hard should it be to get these darn things going smoothly.

I've no idea if it can be found on here but many years ago it was posted here.
A guy took a CB125 single, removed the head and block and blocked off the hole.
He made a new hole in the front of the motor and grafted on one cylinder from a DOHC 4 cylinder 600 Yamaha.
This gave him a DOHC 175 single and not content with that, he supercharged it.

OK guys, lets see who can find it as I'm off to bed.

The forks are a touch short. Which wasn’t bad till I put some bigger rear shocks on it to stiffen it up. (I’m 6’3” 220lbs) My head bearings were questionable when I swapped the front end over. (I have some tapered ones to put in once I make space) All that said it rises pretty well not twitchy and could use a 10wt fork oil over the ATF. Besides that it’s got cheap pads on it and the original brake line. It will pick the rear tire up if I really lay into them. I need to alter the steering stop. They just touch the front of the tank at full lock. I’ve been debating finding an inverted fork that’s longer to swap on but I really like the look of it as is. I just got a cl175 tank with some great patina but haven’t fabbed the mounts yet. Once I get it on I’ll post an update pic.
