 They are nuts...
 They can be used as a replacement for KO forks..

 Sellers will tell you anything.. they will even say that it was raced at Monza or Imola and is worth 4X going rate....

There were lots of mid-model changes. Back in those days Honda and most Jap manufacturers did not cling to model years to make changes.

I don't think they are K1 or K2 as the fork seal area appears to be the smaller. A K0 would certainly have taken the smaller fork seal, which is smaller diameter as well as less height. I think the seal changed sizes in late K1, certainly all K2. I think the internals on the K2 were of the newer simpler design.  The internals on the K0/K1 had the multiple circlip with slidable bushing design.

I'm not sure about any other "tells", but the fork seal is a definite one.

Confirm the seal size with a parts book and a caliper.

The K0 fork has a definite "edge" at the top. The K1's and later are smoother from the seal area down the fork. Here's a pic of a K0 fork.

 Its all in the radius below the groove that holds the boots on, ie the curve of the forkleg, where the fatter seal area changes to smaller diameter.
 The KO will have the right ones, as does ONE other Honda model.. I had a set and sold them to a buddy for 50 bux, sorta regret that nOW.
 The earlier the sandcast, the MORE DIFFERENT..
 I researched mine extensively .. without a partsbook or very accurate sandcast guidebook it is hard to tell what a bike should have.
 The bike I had was in the 500 number range, and I found about 50, yes 50 parts that were on it but not on the last sandcasts.. and earlier have even more differences!

 Its the stuff thats missing, that will cost and kill your wallet..
 You can find a 69 or 70 easily that is missing 4K  or more in parts.... just the way it is..
 If you are dilligent, actually are willing to search and are clever at it, it gets sorta doable..
 No shortage of MISDESCRIBED ?sandcast? parts out there.

 Those forks BTW, I can tell by 20 feet away if the bike is clean..
