CB750 Exhaust
« on: August 25, 2011, 05:32:29 AM »
So Im embarrassingly running a MAC 4 into 1 on my frame up resto project that will be finished this week.  The pipe sounds nice but it looks like my 2 year old daughter did the welds with toothpaste.  The quality is not the best, actually it sucks.  I want to run something that sounds good, performs well, but looks great.  What are you guys using? Does anyone have any experience using pipes from Benjie or similar?  If anyone has an unused vintage 4 into 1 Yoshimura pipe from the 70s  PM me...LoL

There was a guy if you can find the thread that was doing Yosh repros for Crapy, he might still be making them.

-Chris @ MotoGpWerks
-Schule Exhaust
-Swarbrick Racing
-Classic Cycle City
-Simon's Racing (aka Lord Moon Pie)
-BCR (search here, there have been some issues on K's).
-Yamiya
-Cycle Exchange
-Omar's Dirt Track (4-1)
-Roc City Cafe (I think he makes pipes, he makes a killer set for CB400F's).

Those are all the good original venders that I can think of off the top of my head. None of those look much like the originals, but all are super nice in their own ways. Prices go from $300 to $2000.

Cheers!

Is that green painted over a black or silver base coat?  Thanks!

After the body work there is a thin coat of primer then a base coat of black.  It makes it easier to tape of the part that goes inside of the decal.
