chrome rear grab rail
« on: September 06, 2011, 05:01:10 PM »
Well I am finally getting around to working on my first Honda DOHC.  I was wondering if anyone could post some pics of how the rear turn signals are supposed to be mounted in relationship to the grab rail thing.  The left one on my bike is welded on and is hanging down at about a 45 degree angle.  Now this is my first DOHC project, but I know these arent correct.  This is a 1976 CB750A.

If mine were stock, I'd show ya.

What I usually do is use google (search for CB750A) and click on images.  the other option is to search for CB750A motorcycles on ebay.  There's a 1976 on ebay right right with a couple of pictures of the stock turn signals in the stock location.
1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.
