Are 350F conrods the same as 400F conrods?
« on: September 10, 2011, 04:29:01 AM »
Hi All, My first here , Im sure someone knows the answer to this one.

I had a real stuck piston, soaked it for ages, use the 2x2 method but in the end had to drill the top out and use brute force.

Im worried that although the conrod looks ok it may give up on me. I have a crank from a 1976 400f avaliable to me with conrods but can't find a 350F one here.

its getting a rebore and new shells. any ideas on the conrod?

Part numbers are the same.  I think the increased displacement came from larger bore.  You can use the parts fiche from www.motogrid.com to check parts compatibility...Larry
