76 750 A shifter seals
« on: September 17, 2011, 05:45:27 PM »
I ordered the new seals for  around the shifter shaft and the other shaft that is linked to the shifter. They are leaking and my question is this.  Can I pry the leaking ones out with the cover on the bike or do i need to remove the cover to replace these 2 seals??

Drill small holes in the seal and thread a couple drywall screws into it. Then yank the seals out. Be careful not to damage the case or shaft when you drill.
