Question for the experts
« on: September 27, 2011, 02:38:15 PM »
I now this is probably beneath your dignity, but I need someone who really knows and is not guessing.

I have a 1978 Honda CB750K with stock carbs, pod filters ,4 into 2 into 1 exhaust and it has #120 main jets. I had the slides cut down .007 thousandths and the pilots are one size bigger. Pilot screws 1.5 turns out.
I put one .022 thousandths brass shim under the non adjustable needles.
Question. Will it take 2 shims?

I know someone out there already knows the answer.

Pods are the problem..... They NEVER run as good with pods. K&N pods have a velocity stack built in which helps smooth things out but if they are emgo or anything similar then, good luck

This will most likely get moved to the SOHC section since its not high performance orientated

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.
