78 750K Carb boots.

Not a big fan of the 78, but in a weird turn of events, I now have one. The boots are beyond shot, and they seem to be harder to find, and 3x more expensive than the older ones. Can the older ones be made to fit?

No. Buy two of each of the ones that are available. Search around for older threads on the subject, it's one of the very few options available to you, but will work.

You are correct. Almost impossible to find new. I did locate a set, which is long been sold, and they were $245.00 for four (4).

You will find that 77/78 parts are not only hard to find but expensive if OEM. Just not a lot of parts for these years.
