only kcc would post something like that.

I'll take that as a compliment.  I did a little research on here, the web, and youtube.  It looks like he is a pretty decent wrench and helpful to others.  His new Youtube videos about valve work were right on.  So, thanks.

Rigid, you are correct. Guy had a wealth of knowledge.

As far as I'm concerned, KCC is welcome back to the forum anytime.

Let's not get sidetracked on the KCC/Rigid mystery. ;D  This was supposed to happen Wednesday and now it's Friday.  I hope Excerpt isn't chained up in a shed with the old guy going all "Deliverance" on him. ;D  There is a limit to what you would do for a sandcast....isn't there?

Two years ago I sold an "unstaped" sandcast motor -- frozen solid -- for $2k.  I did not read the whole thread, but just about any price is a good price for a set of those buggars.  It at least was an authentic sandie.

Well....It's on!

My friend and I are driving his truck to the sellers place on Wednesday to pick it all up.

After calling my friend to verify that he was still up for it, and that we were using his truck (he's kind of flaky), I called the seller back and said we would be there Wednesday.

Interestingly, the seller said if I changed my mind about coming to get it all, that he was OK with it.  ???

What do you think that's about?!

We will find out WEDNESDAY!!  :)

Well....It's on!
We will find out WEDNESDAY!!  :)
Check list:
1. Print-out of engine serial numbers for all model years.
2. Fine wire brush, rags, and brake cleaner to clean off serial numbers.
3. Good flashlight.
4. Tie-downs and padding for transporting the motors without damage.
5. Camera, to take pics of the drag-bike.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

No, a REAL update would be "Yeah I got them and here is a pic".  That was just throwing a bunch of crumbs to a pack of ravenous dogs to keep them from chewing your leg off. ;D
