Dyna Coils....DC8-1 or DC10-1?
« on: October 14, 2011, 07:43:21 AM »
Hey all...quick question. I'm on Z1's website trying to figure out which coils I need to go with my Dyna-S unit. My current coils (1 of 2) are shot, so I'm going to replace them with some Dyna coils...5.0 OHM.

I'm a little confused, because it seems that both the DC8-1 and DC10-1 are the same units. Both 5.0 ohm.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? A simple "I use the DC10-1 with my Dyna-s and all is kosher" would be great.

Many thanks all!

DC8-1 is the one for you. The DC10-1 is a single fire coil (one spark plug connection): you need the dual fire DC8-1 with two plug connections since the Honda fires two plugs with one coil (1+4 and 2+3).
