Years ago I had a 600 then a 750 Ninja. The 600 was too small for me and the 750 was great but my wife (now ex-wife) was pushing for a Harley. That was her way of getting me to sell the Ninja so she could get her hands on the cash. That being said I didn't have a bike from 1998 until 2010. In those twelve years my taste for sport bikes kind of died out.
In November-ish of 2010 I bought my KZ1000, one of those bikes that even my mother knew about and of course would have disapproved. Some of you may have read my CB650 project thread and already know that issues with the KZ frame led me to buy my first vintage Honda, a 1979 CB650. Since then I have acquired the bikes listed below plus a 1980 KZ750 that I sold because it just wasn't loud and rowdy enough for me.
Lately despite my general distaste for sport bikes and the plastic bodywork I've sort of been smitten by a modern naked Honda, the CB 919. Ive included a pic of a very well kept 919 that I have been watching on CL. I'm sure I WONT be buying this one but I can sure see myself on the back of the thing. Maybe once I get a few of my projects complete.....
