Terry, I can sympathize with you.  I am in the process of a eBay conflict resolution.  I purchased a few items three weeks ago and have tried to contact the seller several times with no reply.  I used PayPal to pay for the items, so I am pretty confident that they will help me get my money back ($210.00), but I am still pretty pissed off with this dillweed.  He has a virtual eBay store and a brick and mortar store in California.  I am visiting my buddy in San Diego in a few weeks and I am tempted to pay this yahoo a visit to put the screws to him.  I told my wife to have the bail money ready.  Some people just need a little attitude adjustment. And I am okay with that.

Terry,
I have over 400 positives and a few negatives (one from a guy who didn't recieve his item in 3 days!)
IF you take Raul's advice....
just do not open new accounts on ebay using your own pc.
I suggest you use a public pc at a library attached to a different
ISP.
Beacause eBay keeps a record of ALL emails/transactions/ISP's/pc id's
 etc etc and if you
open a new acct on your pc with the express purpose of hounding someone,
well...., this information is recorded and guess what...you
could be dropped for violating ebay policy.

Like the old saying goes: Revenge is mine says the Lord.

I have found that getting revenge sometimes helps for a short time, then
all the bad karma generated by these actions come back to haunt you.

I don't think eBay will get so much trouble for just a couple of negative votes. C'mon, they take days to answer a simple question!!! Are they going to play policemen for a couple of votes?

I agree about the bad karma, but I also believe that if you hit a dog, expect a bite. We shouldn't let those people go away without what they deserve.

Hey Thanks Michel, theres a sleazy "Internet Cafe" not far from here which is probably a training centre for the "Mujahadeen youth" as it's full of little Arab kids playing violent computer games, but a good environment for me to wage my own personal "Holy War" against these Ebay #$%*s!

What I now need from you guys is some more sneaky WMD's with which to crush these Ebay Infidels! Cheers, Terry ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Terry,

I know you'll feel better when you get that nice set of carbs !!  Whats the plan for them?

Jerry

G'Day Mate, thanks for that, well the carbs are for my racer project, but Carpy emailed me to tell me pretty much not to bother dreaming about them, because one of his big time buds in the US is gonna bid 1500 bucks for them?

Hmmnnn, I emailed him back and said "Yep, he is gonna pay 1500 for them, because now that I know, I'm setting my max bid to 1499!" I haven't heard back from him yet, but I guess he's using a snipe program anyway, so I'm not holding out much hope, sadly. Cheers, Terry. ;D

You want me to put in a bid of $1 more than his to rattle him a little and have him thinking it's really going to cost him due to more interest?

Thanks for that mate, it was very nice of you. How's that beautiful RC bike going? Cheers, Terry. ;D

Thanks for the comments - here's the bike - most people are interested only in the gauges  ;)

Hate to bust your bubble, but ebay DOes keep all history of all bids, emails, ISP's etc
since day one.
This is how bid riggers are caught.

The cost of storage is so cheap now a days.

That bike does have nice gauges!!

Thanks Jerry, a mate in Sydney contacted me when I stopped bidding at $700, and asked me if I was done, could he bid? I said sure, so he bid them up to $1000.00, but got "sniped" at the last minute, and they went for $1025.00. No biggie though, I found another "as new" set for only $300.00, all I need to fab up an adapter plate (no problem here, the adapter plate is pretty simple) and they'll be on my bike! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Terry, in the system is a procedure for replying to feedback where your comment will be immediately under the negative so at least you can tell people what happened (in few words)
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Thanks Bryan, I did that, but I was so incensed that they'd given me a neg that I accidentally left the "S" out of "Arseholes", ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Terry, I think even if you left out all the S'S they would still get the point.
SiliconDoc, no insurance it was only a pub(pedal) bike. but still mine, but after upsetting a few wankers I was given another bike to wobble to and from my local. New Zealand is a great place for fishing and shooting and according to Terry our sheep aren't fast enough.. :)

Thanks Steve, I already "feel" like an old timer but, that's mainly because you folks
here make a person feel welcome and apart of the group. I might be accused of sucking up but,
it's just the plain truth. The other sites could take lessons. And while I'm working on becoming an
"old timer" (on the site), in age, I' getting there pretty quickly. Ha! Ha! You take care and I'll
        catch you later.

Hey duster, I've been good, just ask--Well anyway, I think I tried to be good.

Terry,

I just read of your experience on the bay... I won a bid for a BMW 325 convertible and flew up to PA to pick it up.  When I got there, the car was the biggest POS I ever saw.  Check out what I did - http://www.yourauctionblock.com/locastro21.htm.  I contacted every bidder for over a month with this link.  He lost so much money b/c of me it was great!!!

Now - he has changed his name, privatized his feedback and lists all of his auctions private.

I think I did some damage to the slimeballs business!!!  He would have been better off paying the $300+ I was out!

Whatever you end up doing, be careful.  My eBay account was shut down - I had to sign an agreement stating I would not do anything else on eBay w/ respect to him.

Hey that's excellent Bryan! You did all the right things and sadly you still lost money, I've only lost a little money, so I intend to do all the wrong things to screw these clowns, but I'll bide my time so they don't know who to blame when suddenly no one pays for their goods, and leaves them negative feedback, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D
