There's some truth to that ad. We used to tell breastfeeding mothers to drink a beer or two per day to increase their milk supply, and it worked pretty well. Now we have drugs for that.

They still do. Preferably something with lots of body and yeast. It is really the yeast, you can take brewers yeast in pill form for the same effect.

The wife preferred Irish Red from Jack Russell Brewery up the road. I was happy to oblige!
