Trade him the weight machine for it... :D

I agree.  All that working out has turned you into a Marsha Brady lookalike.

Well? Did ya buy it? I'd like to see the rebuild on this.I have this same machine(running) setting in my barn along side of 13 550's, was thinking of stripping the front end off for a 550 project but it just seems wrong. I wonder what someone else would do with it.
No I didn't get it. The owner never got back with me and I didn't persue it any futher. That's probally for the best because I didn't need another bike two CB750's and a Harley is enough and getting a CB450 in this shape that would need a complete restore just wasn't something I felt like I needed to do even though I did smoke it over pretty seriously for a while. Now rather I needed it or not if it had been a CB750 instead of a CB450 it would more than likely be wedged in between the others in my garage right now ;)  It's strange, who would ever thunk it a 40 year old Honda at a Harley Davidson dealership. Just never know where you will stumble across one of these old Honda's at. I had a blast just taking pictures of it and checking it out ;D

They were I agree ;D I've never had a DOHC CB450, but in HS in the early 70's a friend of mine had a 1971 or 72. It was a strong runner and very reliable.
