Vesrah replacement valves
« on: December 07, 2011, 07:24:03 PM »
so i'm thinking i'm going to have to replace my valves/guides etc on my 78 cb750k four, but I can't find reasonably cheap oem valves. I found a site that sells Vesrah valves, which apparently are oem replacements, but I found them on another site that says they won't work with my bike unless I buy a $250 titanium retainer conversion kit. Has anyone used these valves? Did you need a kit like this? If not, how do I go about rebuilding my valvetrain at a reasonable cost?

thanks in advance!

Send the whole thing to M Reik and let him work his magic---you wont be dissapointed

I have used Vesrah's and they work well. The key when replacing the valves is to REPLACE THE ROCKER ARM THREADED ADJUSTERS TOO! I have plenty of the early style retainers and keepers that work with the Vesrah valves.

how much would you want to replace the valves/guides for me? I've done a valve job on a car before but I didn't have to replace the guides or cut anything, so I don't quite know what i'm doing haha.
