Did Russ make it Mike ?
I got a nice message from his Mum earlier thanking us for supporting her Sons.
Give him my regards please.
Sure did Sam and your name did come up. Something about "that old codger"???????????  ;) ;) ;) ;D Actually the conversation was more about you being an outstanding fella that is very much loved by myself and others. ;)

7 engine cases sitting on that rollaway. I'll have to get a pic of one of the new cases being machined.

Been a while...and the projects continue....Sam and others here are keeping the forum well informed...complete with pictures etc...

The Triple is officially a "roller" complete with fuel and a leaking oil tank " good thing we tested" ...Keith's hub is married to Sam's wheel, Don's front end now has operational brakes.

Now I need to take the roller apart to get those engine plates to Boston....so Mike and Co. Can get those very custom cases right. I'm thinking this week.

I have taken on a new job working for my brother David at REAL Marketing in San Diego. I Will be the Chief Operations Officer of his wildly popular marketing firm. I am officially retired from aerospace....whew...a 40 yr run. I will now have much greater flexibility with my off hours...actually...I will have off hours...lol.

Part of my new responsibilities INCLUDE WORKING THESE RESTORES. In addition to run the RC Legacy racing efforts. Yes that's right, I'll be paid to go racing. Does it get any better?

Thank you all for hanging in there...

When it's time for start I hope it will be announced in time before. This is a historical event! The sound of it must be mechanical porn!

Nice stuff there brother. ;)

Thanks, Bro.

Tain't nothing compared to what you guys are doing with those engine plates.  ;)

I had no idea what a potato chip it was until we started grinding it. It was fairly parallel but waffly if that makes sense!

I want one too.
I had one from shiny new, scratched it and sold it a few years later. It would be fine with a NOS RC 4-1. I guess that many are looking for one.

Hard to find the RC headers now days most have been abused and rusted out , i have 3 sets for the CBX , This bike just got finished last year and is in heated storage ,Old drag bike from the early 1980's sitting in the back on a friends shop covered with RC pipes, made sure it came home with me that day  , Put it back on the street, Scary Fast ! 3000 miles from So Cal and found this, Like most restore time took much more than expected
