CB350F/400F Emulsion Tube needed
« on: December 21, 2011, 02:44:38 PM »
Just took my carbs apart as the last item in my restoration (actually, preservation) of my '72 CB350F i got late this fall. Carb 4's emulsion tube has somehow been bent a bit by the PO. It's the type with 5 holes on 2 sides, and 2 holes on the other two sides, with the 2 holes centered vertically on the tube. See photos below (in the second one of the 2 holes, you can sorta pick up on the bit of a bend on it..I had to hold it with my finger because it wanted to roll away from showing the two holes. It's DEFINITELY bent!)

So, does anybody out there have one of these style emulsion tubes you'd be willing to part with? Will pay you immediately via PayPal (will do it as a "gift" so there's no service charges), or whatever other way you prefer. Whatever you think is fair is fine by me; I was hoping to get this bike together next week but this is now the show-stopper. No way the needle in #4 is gonna like a bent tube, so I've gotta get another.

I've read here that the CB350F and CB400F carbs are identical; the 400 ones just have bigger jets. So a tube from a 350 or 400 would work.

Can anybody help me out? Thanks!!

(this is a duplicate of a post I have in Parts Wanted; wanted it here also to get more eyes on it)
