My name is Cake.  I have cut up Windjammers with sawzalls to fit them in a bin.
If I had another one, I'd use it.  Now, I'd buy a SOHC just because it has one.

A KZ with a Windjammer, that would be like a SALT FLAT bike with a full sheet of PLYWOOD strapped to the front. The KZ were made for SPEEEED.

My name is John and I did have a Vetter Windjammer and padded sissy bar back in the day when I bought my new CB750K7 (see pic). It was great for riding around Lake MI and breaking up wind fatigue. However, I would never put one on my stock CB750's now which is personal choice as I like to keep them totally stock.

Spanner's got a 'Jammer...... was on the '77 750A when I got it. Tempted to put it on the K8 along with a rear carrier that fits too  :o

When I was approaching the end of my career in shops, around 1975, it had gotten to the point where EVERY (almost) CB750 we sold was loaded: Windjammer, lowers, bags, rack and top box. Calafia was another very popular brand. Couldn't keep the stuff in stock.

I couldn't understand the attraction and wouldn't have had one. Actually now that i think of it, my current CB had one on it in 1974 when i bot it used, and within a week i had sold it.

The jammer is a bit of bulk understood. But my FJR has a trimmer, yet full coverage fairing, and it makes such a huge difference in limiting fatigue and staying warm.

Even a simple handlebar shield makes a difference.

So if one is using their CB for real riding purposes, a jammer would be a real option.

I don't ride in the winter but with the windchills sometimes reaching double digits below zero I find the Windjammer to be a worthwhile accessory to wear for outdoor activities. :D

My name is jim, and when I was full o piss and vineger back in the day, I wouldnt've been caught dead with a windjammer on my K3 or K4.  My dad rode a 900 Z1 with a windjammer....My cousin called it the "Batcycle"....
