1978 CB 550 Carb rebuild kit

Looking into rebuilding my carbs. I have been researching prices...looks like $50 PER CARB....ouch! Not sure why its so much more for the 77/78 model!? You can get per 77' for $20 per each. Anyone know of any cheaper places? I am looking for the complete set, not just gaskets.

How many miles are on the bike ? Sometimes the original stock brass bits are better and they take many,many miles to 'wear' out. Just sayin'--------
