I LOVE these two bikes. Teach me!
« on: January 06, 2012, 11:33:56 AM »
I found these photos of two bikes that I think are REALLY sweet. They are made by this company: http://www.crdmotorcycles.com/motos
I want to know several things so I can try them out on my CB550.

1) What did they do with the battery and electrical system?
2) Where can I get a seat/fender like that? (slim and cool looking that can handle 2 people)

Speaking on your question about the battery. One known practice is to hide the battery in a box out of sight just below ( on with some frames above) the rear swing arm.

Battery is prolly somewhere around the swingarm or in the tank somewhere (if there is a faux part of it).

I am betting the seat was made by them.

Wondering if you realize that the motors are a DOHC.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

You could also get a charging system from cycle x and run without a battery.
