He did. But the insurance company was fighting me hard over the value. All the bike needed was a new wiring harness, but they estimated the repair in $1,200 range. We settled at $1,000 at the end of the day.
I never should have let the bike sit there for so long, but at the time I had no idea what I was doing when it came to repairing these things. Stupid... and wasteful. However, I have been handed a lemon of a situation, so you kno wwhat I am goin gto make? LEMONADE!!!!
I have com eup with a name for the project.... Kemuri (Japanese for Smoke). I wanted to call it the Phoenix, but out of respect to Master Spikeybike, there can be only one!
