Topic: Cb400f into 350f frame

G'day everyone,

Two main questions (for now)...

First, does anyone know where I can score a wiring loom for my project, prefer Australian location for freight reasons.

Second, I'm putting the 400f engine into my CB350f frame. Can anyone tell me the best hubs to go with? I was hoping to fit a disc front and rear. Do newer CB model rims fit ? Has anyone here tried something similar?

G'day to you Dan & Welcome to the sohc4 forum  ,
      I've never tried the modifications that you will be attempting on your CB400F.I might recommend if you're Modding it anyway...that you can possibly find an entire front fork assembly w/ the front wheel and Disc brake assemblies from...possibly a Ninja 500 or 600 or other;I think it will work out well if you can get the triple tree's to have the same part # tapered roller bearing Headset..and then you could find a way to  install the CB400F lower triple stem into a more modern lower triple clamp. The rear..you may have to Fabricate a special mount for the caliper mount and rear master cylinder and have them welded on to the frame & swingarm;all this could take away from the Vintage quality resale value of you're bike if you tried to sell it later...but if you're not worried about that Go for it !
