69 Sandcast racing gauge panel
« on: March 15, 2012, 06:51:02 AM »
Well....since I cant post links in the classified section I thought I would mention this here in hopes that someone would respond.  I stumbled across this in on Feebay and although I look at CB parts just about daily (I know its a sickness) I will be the first to admit that I dont know "nuthin" about the cafe or racing side of these old bikes.  I just like to ride em and "piddle" with em.  The item appears to be a gauge panel with speedo and tach cutouts along with installed amp and op gauges.  I have not seen anything like it listed before.  Somebody take a look and let me know for my own curiosity.  BR Butch

The feebay store is mistercsmotorcycles

Item number is 230705222163

No idea myself. Looks like it lives inside a fairing.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Looks like it mounts to the upper bar clamp bolts.....Heck it even looks like it comes with a cigarette lighter.  Thats probably why its for sale.  Some politician probably outlawed cigarette lighters on cafe racers!  LMAO

Gauge mount from old Vetter faring or similar.  I have one of these.
Yes, it includes a cigarette lighter.  Wonder how many watts that pulls?

Yes, he's a prolific seller. I think I've actually bought from him, with no issues fortunately.

However, sadly, it appears that before long practically every 69-70 750 part and then some on ebay will be listed as "sandcast"... >:(     ::)
