What does it cost a month to run this site?
« on: March 20, 2012, 01:14:25 PM »
I poked around but I couldn't figure out what it costs to run this place a month, a year?  Anyone have a clue?

I would suggest you inquire with Glenn Stauffer, site owner.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

I am sure what it costs monetary-wise needs to include how much of your life it can consume keeping it updated, fixing issues and other stuff.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Yes indeed. Glenn has put a great deal of time into the site over the years considering the upgrades, fixes, routine maintenance, etc. We wouldn't have this without him.

I don't know what Glenn gets out of this site but I'm very Sure most members get a lot of very usefull info that must out weigh what they might donate.
I think last year I got more out of Glenn than I paid in. I got a patch and pin for helping out with the moderation of a couple of forums and I'm sure I forgot to donate last year.
Must remember to do it tomorrow.
