wanna help me get a title in Washington? My new 750 basket case has no title. I figured I would throw a hail mary to see if any members in Maine would be willing to help me get a title? For $$$ of course  . From what I understand Maine is a no title state so it would be easy for me to "sell" you my bike, you register it and title it in your name then "sell" it back to me. If your game and wanna make some extra cash for a bit of your time PM me and do a fellow SOHC lover a huge favor.

My memory of the Maine DMV is that they will only title a vehicle back 15 years. When I sold my 1984 GMC, I couldn't get a copy of the original title to go with the truck. I don't believe that the motorcycles would be any  different.

The way it works is.  You buy my bike and get it registered in your name in Maine. Then simply sign the bike back over to me. Form is on the back of the registration. The state of WA will issue me a title and registration because Maine is a no title state.

The earlier poster is correct; Maine does not issue titles on vehicles 15 years or older, all we receive is a registration form.
