I am wondering how I can remove the knob of the daytrip counter. There is no screw or something. Does anybody know?

It's probably reverse threaded.
The gauges with the knobs on the bottom have a set screw as well, I think, I can't remember exactly.

No set screw on my 76 gauges.
It's a left hand thread, turn clockwise to loosen.
