CB750K4 Fuel Petcock
« on: June 04, 2006, 10:25:45 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I removed the fuel petcock from my CB750K4 in order to replace the seals and discovered the brass tube that protrudes into the tank is split open from the end almost to the base. This tube does not appear to be available from Honda by itself. Does anyone have a good home remedy for this? A new petcock isn't horribly expensive, but I have already bought a new screen, gaskets, and o-rings.

Thanks,
Dennis

See if you can find a similar diameter piece of brass tubing from a hobby shop. The old tube was just press-fit in place, so it should be easy to replace.
