Tornadoes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area
« on: April 03, 2012, 01:38:56 PM »
I hope everyone is safe.  We've escaped the worst of it in my area, but it's not over yet.  Several reports of tornado damage around the metroplex.  Both my kids are at home with me and napping soundly, but I'm ready to yank them into the central bathroom tub in a second.

Would it be GZ approaching?:)

Looked like we were going to get slammed but somehow avoided any damage.

Good to hear Greenjeans, we would not want dynamic Denton to be hit by a force of nature.  :)

It's gone past our area now.  There was a heavy downpour for a while, but nothing else.  Hopefully the damage in the hard-hit areas was only to buildings.

It's all good now.  We never even lost power here, but I'm assuming some parts did.  Still can't believe the kids slept right through all those nearby lightning strikes!

I slept thru our family getting side swiped by a semi in my uncle's old bronco when I was a kid... don't sleep for #$%* anymore, wish I did!
