There has been so many little changes to any company policy reguarding the average worker, that most haven't realized what has been lost in short term employment, it is those that have spent many years at the grind that realize that those little changes collectively create losses you have described. Forget about loyalty from either side, it's just a job. I'm sure that some of the older guys remember when there was a good chance that you could do what your Dad did or better for "the company", we don't have that anymore. The middleclass workers are being sold out by empire builders. They buy your company ,lay off the employees, sell whatever product is left, show big profits and sell your company to the next sucker that can only read the profit margin on the spreadsheet. It's disgusting . And these are America's millionaires, movers and shakers, this is considered good business? Then the wealthiest of these bastards can run for president and act like they are saving businesses and jobs! Holiday time off, paid vacations, sick time, and contributions to healthcare and not to mention retirement will all be things of the past. Social Security will be gone and you haven't had enough extra money to put in your 401k? Well that'll be too fin bad, but it is going to be that way in our lifetime, ask any of these millionaires and they'll tell ya that you're lucky to have a job! Hey Bud ,could ya spare a ten bucks for a gallon of fuel ? What can we do as individuals, nothing. There has been an ill wind blowing across this country for a while, if this is your first sign, you haven't been paying attention , until it effects you. Congratulations to being alerted to the Sht storm that is sure to follow.
