What is the best time to repaint engine cases, while apart or after reassembly? Painting afterwards would keep the paint from getting chipped up retightening the case bolts, and maybe seal them a little better. Beforehand is probably easier. And is there a problem painting cylander fins? I plan on using VHT Aluminum paint on my '75 FO engine.
